AN INQUEST into the death of Stanford man Ryan Marven found that he died as a result of a road traffic collision.
Ryan, 30, died of serious head injuries in a crash in Koh Samui in 2011.
The inquest heard that because Ryan was only insured for minor injuries, his family had to spend more than £30,000 flying him back to Stanford, where, he died of his injuries.
An inquest held in Chelmsford found he died as a result of a road traffic collision.
Mr Marven had been living in Thailand for about a year before his death.
