THURROCK WRITER has fulfilled the dream of a lifetime by taking over a bookshop.
Tan Dhillon has been known on the multi-media radar for a number of years as a writer, broadcaster and DJ.
But Tan has added another string to his bow by taking over the village bookshop in High Road, Woodford Green.
YT popped in to see Tan at the bookstore which sits opposite the Green on the High Road.
Tan said: “I have never run my own business before, so it will be a challenge and one that I am already enjoying.”
“Sometimes you have to follow your dreams and this felt like the right time.
“I have a lot of ideas relating to how a bookstore can survive in a digital age.”
The three members of staff who work in the book shop will be keeping their jobs.
