Hassenbrook set to celebrate sixty glorious years

HASSENBROOK’S sixtieth year will be marked with an anniversary bash to take place on the evening of Saturday 6th July.

The event to be held on the Academy premises in Stanford-le-Hope is open to ex-staff and ex-students providing an opportunity to catch-up with old friends, teachers and work colleagues.

Assistant Headteacher, Colin Flynn said: “Hassenbrook has been the centre of the community for a long time providing an education for thousands of young people and employment for many in the local area .

“Long serving retired teachers, Mr James and Mr Houghton have already reserved tickets and are looking forward to catching up with everybody and sharing the many memories we have of the past 60 years.’

Tickets are on sale now from the Finance Dept at Hassenbrook Academy 8.15am to 2.15pm term time.
