FIRE CREWS were called to Riverside Leisure Centre in Tilbury after reports of a fire.
The incident occurred at 7pm on Wednesday night in Quebec Road.
Firefighters tackled a small fire in which a small amount of tarmac was alight.
Using one hose reel jet firefighters had extinguished the fire by 19:20hrs.
