IT is never too late to strike and Aveley proved it on Monday night as a 93rd minute, Petrit Elbi free kick saw Aveley beat Harlow Town 1-0.
It was a tight struggle for much of the game and showed what a strong and durable side, Harlow Town are.
Elbi fired in a free-kick from 25 yards for the Millers in the second minute of injury time.
The free-kick was awarded after Harlow Town’s defender Michael Akande was adjudged by the referee Oliver Roguez to have fouled.
The win puts the Millers in second place.
