CORRINGHAM’S Emily Scott came close to scoring for England in the RBS Womens Six Nations clash with France on Saturday.

The Thurrock Ladies star was just millimetres away from touching down but she was tackled just before the line.

Scott had come on as a substitute but she could not prevent England losing.

Emily is in the third year of her sports science degree at Brunel University
