STANFORD’S Hayley MacLean smashed her personal best for the 400m hurdles in one of her first outings of the season in Belgium.
Hayley had been quite low-key in her assessment of the coming season but she let her work on the track do the talking.
Hayley clocked 57.87 for the event in Belgium, a personal best, a qualifying times for the European champs and the 4th best time ever for a UK under-20 athlete.
Hayley competes for Chelmsford AC and is also sponsored by Cedar Hall Osteos of Stanford-le-Hope and Benfleet.
