IT IS THAT time of year when the sun comes out just in time for the Thurrock Beer Festival. The revellers were queueing as they festival based at the civic hall at Blackshots opened at midday on Tuesday.
As usual, there is a vast array of beers, both classics and newcomers. There is a whole feast of entertainment from Morris dancers to the excellent Pink Floyd tribute act, Any Colour You Like on Saturday evening.
The mayor of Thurrock, cllr Tony Fish was on hand to open proceedings.
YT spoke to organisers, Helen Turnnidge and Simon Harrison about the five day festival.
