FIRE CREWS were called to reports of fires in a field in Aveley at just after mid-night (Monday).
Three crews went to the Mardyke Bridge Crossing in Ship Lane, Aveley
Firefighters tackled sic firers all lit in the same field. Crews had extinguished three of the fires by 23:54 with the remaining three being extinguished by 00:14hrs.
The cause of the fires has been recorded as deliberate.
