Probably Essex needs another river crossing, BUT THURROCK DOESN’T!
The present crossing just needs sorting out.
Scrap the Tolls – issue solved.
Another crossing will happen – 5, 10, 15 or 20 years time – it will happen.
But where will it go?
A bridge East of the Superport will have to be very high because of the ships passing underneath – and a tunnel will have to be very very deep of the deep dredging that has occurred.
Cost wise it will probably be West of the Superport and Option C – or some variation of Option C will probably be what we get.
