CHAFFORD HUNDRED residents have erupted with anger after thousands of cruise enthusiasts descended on Lakeside on Saturday night. The event that had been billed as Rampage 2013 seemed to fly in the face of the dispersal order and get tough posturing that crime agencies had published in recent weeks.

YT has contacted the portfolio holder for public protection, cllr Anji Gaywood, who has pledged to look into the event as has South Chafford councillor, Charlie Key.
Cllr Key confirmed that he had a large number of Thurrock residents contact him regarding the noise.
More to follow.
