A TRAIN de-railment at Purfleet has caused headaches for passengers all weekend.
A statement on the C2C website states: “Owing to a problem near the railway between Barking and Grays the line is blocked.
“Impact:Train services running through these stations will be suspended between Barking and Grays.
“All stations between Barking and Grays will not be served. Disruption is expected until 04:00 29/07.
Customer Advice:
Buses will depart hourly at 29 minutes past the hour from Barking to Grays.
Buses will depart hourly at 59 minutes past the hour from Grays to Barking.
Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers from Barking via Rainham and Grays in both directions until further notice.
