POLICE have appealed for witnesses after an elderly woman died following an incident in Orsett.
The woman, who is in her 80s and from Grays, received serious injuries when she was in collision with a green Vauxhall Corsa in a car park at the Foxhound pub in High Road.
The incident happened at about 1.45pm on Wednesday July 31. The woman was taken to Basildon Hospital but was later transferred to the Royal London Hospital where she died in the early hours of Thursday August 1.
Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the collision and especially want to contact a man whose black VW Golf car was parked nearby and was involved in a slight impact from the Corsa.
