A MAN found walking on the Dartford Crossing on Monday evening was sent to hospital with mental health issues.
The 42-year-old from Chatham was detained by Highways Agency traffic officers at around 7.30pm before Essex Police were called though he was eventually taken to Darent Valley Hospital by paramedics reports newsshopper.
Gravesend RNLI launched a boat but by 7.42pm it was stood down once it became clear the situation was under control.
