IT WAS poignant but oh so fitting as Diana Hale’s funeral processed past the Civic Offices.
Diana had been a community champion, every day of her life and a woman with a keen sense of civic duty.
And it was also fitting to see the red roses resplendent on a lovely September day.
Family, friends and members of the Thurrock community were led by rev. Darren Barlow of St Peter and St Paul’s church in a funeral but also a tribute to Diana.
