HAVE you ever considered fostering as a way of enriching your life?
Thurrock Council is hosting an event for potential foster parents – or even those just thinking about fostering – at the Orsett Hall later this month.
The free information event will be held starting at 7pm on Wednesday, 16 October.
There will be a presentation followed by refreshments and a chance to chat with social workers and people who are already foster carers.
People who become foster carers with the council receive training, advice and 24/7 support from a small, friendly team as well as a generous package of financial support.
