THURROCK Writers Circle AGM and 18th Anniversary had chairman Joy Ridgewell and the committee returned.
Members of the group have been on a Writing Weekend at Ruskin College in Oxford. This was a great learning curve and everyone felt they had improved and advanced their knowledge. Our membership is growing and each person has his own unique style.
Some of our group went to see the musical Calamity Jane at the Thameside Theatre, what a great show. It is so good to see so many younger people as well as the tried and tested mature actors in the cast enjoying themselves. We are preparing for our Christmas Story competition and will also have more speakers in the near future
