Starmakers need you for talent show

YOUNG producers Franki McEwen and Kellie Newport are putting together a bumper talent show at the Thameside Theatre on 30th November @7pm.

The dynamic duo are looking for entertainers who love to perform and want to showcase their talent in a professional environment. They are being supported by the Young Producers programme, a Royal Opera House Bridge Organisation initiative.

The Harris Academy pupils are both seasoned performers themselves and have taken part in competitions and West End shows.

Franki said “We wanted to put on a show where young people could come along and show their talent including those who may not have had the opportunity before. We are looking for a variety of performers to make up the 16 acts needed to perform on the night with a fantastic prize for the winning act. Its open to performers between the ages of 7 to 18 so we are hoping to see a really good range of performances”

The Mayor of Thurrock, Tony Fish, has shown his support by providing the prize – the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Thurrock Civic Dinner and other events around Thurrock.

Auditions are being held at the Thameside Theatre on the 16th November @ 9a.m. with a rehearsal on the 19th November.

Audition forms are available from the Theatre Box Office or by calling STARMAKER on 07867725185.
