Ngage set for Festive Fun Night!

NGAGE, the community organisation and Volunteer Centre for Thurrock are holding their annual Festive Fun Night this year on Wednesday 11th December between 4.00pm and 7.30pm at the Civic Hall, Blackshots, Grays.

The event is completely FREE and includes free entertainment, craft and play activities for the children, mince pies and refreshments and much more. To top it all, Father Christmas has promised to drop in with a sack of free gifts for children under the age of 10 (limited to first 200).

Jacqui Payne, Programme manager for ngage said “Our Festive fun night has been running for a number of years and it is extremely popular with local residents and groups. Everyone has such a great time and it is full of surprises. We have ‘AJ’ the children’s entertainer, face painting, balloon modelling, craft activities and a great colouring competition for children. There is a silent disco and we are hoping that people will have a dance as it is sure to be fun, especially for those who are watching! We also have a free raffle to win Lakeside vouchers and a hamper of Christmas goodies, and everyone is surprised when we tell them that all this is FREE to the community”.

The event helps to highlight what’s happening through partnership working and to celebrate the achievements of local community and voluntary groups and encourage more people to get involved. There will also be information about how residents can get involved in their local area through volunteering and local decision making opportunities.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
