THURROCK Council launched its Veterans’ Charter nearly two years ago and is now asking if it needs updating.
In late November, the council agreed a motion from Cllr Rob Gledhill that ““The Council request that a review be carried out of the implementation of the Veteran’s Charter and publish the results before its second anniversary (March 2014), to ensure that the commitment we signed up to is working in Thurrock?”
Now veteran groups and interested individuals are being asked a series of questions designed to find out if improvements need to be made.
Anyone – or any organisation – which would like to take part in the consultation is asked to respond via email to community@thurrock.gov.uk
Responses have to be received by Friday, 14 February and people are being asked to provide examples to back up their comments.
