FIRE CREWS were called to a lorry on fire on the A13, Dock Approach Road at the Stifford interchange.
Crews tackled the fire wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets.
Crews reported that the lorry contains rubber and plastics.
Crews extinguished the fire by 07:03hrs.
