A GRAYS teenager has appeared in court in relation to the murder of a teenager.
Lewis Daynes, 18, made a short appearance at Basildon magistrates court on Wednesday morning.
Computer engineer has been charged with the murder of a 14-year-old from Caterham, Breck Bednar.
Daynes, dressed in a red custody uniform and flanked by two officers, only spoke to confirm his address and date of birth.
His address was given as Graylands, Rosebery Road, Grays.
The court confirmed that his next appearance would be at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday Feb 20th.
He was remanded in custody.
