THE DULCET tones of local saxophonist, Andy Webb entertained diners at The Oriental Pan-Asian restaurant in Chafford Hundred.
Well known tracks played included Feelings by Morris Albert, I Just Called by Stevie Wonder, Wings Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler and many more.
His passion for playing has led him to play at various functions in Thurrock.
The chefs at The Oriental showcased their skills by presenting an exciting menu. New dishes included seared grilled scallop and Thai Chilli Sauce and Shredded Duck rolls for starters.
The Asian Fusion lamb cutlets with coriander, mint and chilli was a great example of east meets west cuisine.
A spokesperson said: “We had a lot of positive feedback and hope to place this on the main menu in due course.
To sample more new dishes, our chef will be presenting them at our next event on Thursday 6th March where Sam Grassi will be performing ‘Songs across the Decades’. A great evening out in Thurrock.
