Councillor promises to fill in “Every pothole in Thurrock”

THE THURROCK councillor in charge of potholes has made the ambitious promise to fill in every single pothole in Thurrock.

Councillor Andy Smith made the promise at a recent meeting of the full council in Civic Road, Grays.

From Aveley to Fobbing, potholes have become the bane of the Thurrock driver’s life, specifically since the snows of March 2013 and have been exacerbated by the heavy rains of the first two months of the year.

But in response to a question from Homesteads councillor, Pauline Tolson, cllr Smith, whilst not giving any timescale has made the ambitious pledge.
