you have ever considered fostering, there are two local information events coming up where you can find out more.
An information drop-in session will take place on Wednesday, 26 March between 9am and noon at the Village Hall, High Road, Horndon-on-the-Hill (SS17 8LB).
This is an informal event where people can pop in and chat one-to-one with a social worker who will be able to explain the process and answer questions.
The second event is an open evening on Wednesday, 2 April starting at 7pm at Orsett Hall Hotel, Prince Charles Avenue, Orsett (RM16 3HS). The evening begins with a short presentation followed by a question and answer session with existing foster carers.
Foster carers receive training and support from a small friendly team as well as a generous package of financial support which is no less than £267 per week.
