Bishop of Bradwell’s sadness at growth of foodbanks in Thurrock

THE BISHOP of Bradwell, John Wraw visited the Purfleet foodbank last week.

Although, the bishop was pleased to see how much hard work the organisers of the foodbank had put in, you could see that he despaired that in 2014, his parish was dotted with places that people could obtain food and clothing.

After his visit, where he spoke to recipients of food and clothes, YT asked the bishop for his reflections.

  1. According to the Conservatives there isn’t any need for food banks and Norman Tebbit wants them investigate, the Conservative party, a bout as in touch with common people as a High Court judge
