Thurrock 22 v 53 Southend
THURROCK Under-15s lost to a formidable Southend side, by over 50 points at Blackshots on Friday night.
Over 200 turned up to see an open and entertaining game of rugby.
Thurrock scored the first try but with strong forward presence, Southend were soon in control and soon marched to a 26-15 kead at half time.
The second half saw the Southend try machine go into over-drive and Thurrock did well to keep their discipline and momentum. Standards that will see them through in the future.
