Ryman Premier
East Thurrock United 0 v 3 Wealdstone
WITH just seven games left, East Thurrock now find themselves in real trouble after losing 3-0 against league leaders Wealdstone at Rookery Hill.
Goals by Charlie Penny in the 34th minute and two by Carl McCluskey in the 38th and 60th minute, condemned the Rocks to the second disappointing defeat in three days.
This has come after a couple of good results culminating in victories against Maidstone and Hendon.
But with these two defeats, it does appear that the Rocks, third from bottom, with four to go down, are running out of steam.
The bad news was compounded by the fact that Enfield beat Bognor 2-1 tonight and are now four points clear of the Rocks.
But there are twenty one points still to play for.
They now have six games left against Canvey, Margate, Leiston, Cray Wanderers, Met Police, Enfield and Bognor Regis Town.
Enfield, who are just one place above them have fixtures against: Carshalton, Lewes, Maidstone, Lowestoft, Wingate, East Thurrock and Cray Wanderers.
