STAFF
from two of Thurrock Council’s partners have put in that eggstra bit of effort and put on a cracking good show for charity this week.
The staff – who all work at the Civic Offices in Grays for Adecco and Serco – got terribly egg-cited when they were asked to scramble for cash in their pockets to shell out and donate chocolate eggs to Little Haven’s Children’s Hospice and Collins House, the council’s adult residential home in Corringham.
When organisers counted up the donations they were eggstatic. They had donated eggsactly 229 – an eggceptionally good effort by them all.
