EAST THURROCK striker David Bryant has backed them to win their last three games and beat the drop reports Sportinessex.com
The 31-year-old marksman – who scored his 13th goal of the campaign in this week’s win over Cray – says Rocks have the quality to end a testing season on a high.
Lewes’ midweek win over relegation-rivals Wingate has left the Corringham-based club’s fate in their own hands.
It now looks like a straight scrap between East Thurrock and Wingate to avoid the final Ryman Premier relegation place. That said, 22nd place Thamesmead could still get out of trouble, and 19th-placed Enfield Town could get dragged in.
Bryant – who has won titles with Braintree and survived relegation scraps with Thurrock – now expects Rocks to put to bed any fears with back-to-back wins over Met Police and Enfield Town this Easter weekend.
And he expects them to get a result at home to high-flying Bognor on the final day if necessary.
He said: “We think we can win our final three games and if we do that we’ll be safe.”
