THE SEAL of approval may be that they will leave you alone for a couple of years but we are sure that there are a number of hard-working teachers at both Abbots Hall primary and Arthur Bugler infants who are happy with that.
Government watchdog Ofsted has written to both schools to tell them the good news.
The inspector said: “I am pleased to inform you that the interim assessment of your child’s school indicates that the school’s performance has been sustained. As a result, the next full inspection will not take place before the summer term 2015.
“However, should Ofsted receive information that raises significant concerns about the school in the course of the coming year, we may conduct an earlier inspection”.
The chair of governors for Arthur Bugler Infants, Angie Gaywood said; “I am delighted but also a little frustrated. The school was very pleased to receive a “Good” inspection but at the same time, we know we are so close to an Outstanding.”
