Find out who you are at Thurrock libraries

FOLLOWING recent successful library talks by professional genealogist Meryl Catty, a number of free family history advice sessions are available in all Thurrock Council’s libraries.

If people are stuck on some research, need help finding family history websites, or need tips on where to start, Meryl Catty will be able to help you.

There is no need to book in advance and all sessions are free.

All libraries in the borough also offer free access to the popular Ancestry website.

The venues and dates are:

Monday, 2 June, South Ockendon Centre, 10am to 1pm; and Aveley Library, 2pm to 5pm.

Tuesday, 3 June, East Tilbury Library, 10am to 1pm; and Grays Library, 2pm to 5pm.

Thursday, 5 June, Stanford-le-Hope Library, 10am to1pm; and Corringham Library, 2pm to 5pm.

Friday, 6 June, Tilbury Library, 10am to 1pm; and Blackshots Library, 2pm to 5pm.

Wednesday, 25 June, Chadwell Library, 10am to 1pm
