Sainsbury’s looking for charity to help

THE CHAFFORD branch of Sainsbury’s has become very well known in the community for backing a local charity and this year is no exception.

Voting opened on May 28th and runs until Sunday June 8th. Voting can take place in store at the Customer Service Desk or online at .

A spokesperson said: “We are once again looking for a local Charity to support over the next year. Any charity can be nominated and our Great Place To Work Group will choose from three finalists at the beginning of June.

“This partnership has seen some fantastic results in the last three years from three very different charities. Guide Dogs, Batias and Thurrock Foodbank have all been fantastic and we can really see the difference that even a small amount of support can make at local level”.
