However, we make an exception for Gillie the yorkshire terrier.
His owner, Jo Smith said: “We lost our yorkshire terrier on Saturday 12th July at approx 1pm in the Frost Estate in Corringham and we haven’t seen him since.
“We have been frantically searching for him and been down all other avenues.
“He has been posted on the Stanford-le-Hope page and various other facebook pages. The local community has been fantastic and even organised a search party for the local area.
“His name is Gillie and he is 13 years old. He has been my grandad’s constant companion since my nan passed away two days before Christmas. He is absolutely heart broken
“We are offering a substantial reward for his safe return
