FIRE CREWS were called to a fire on the 13th floor at flats on Godman Road in Chadwell St Mary.
The fire was in the bin chute room and crews quickly extinguished the fire by 19:45hrs.
Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one main jet.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage and ECFRS will carry out an investigation.
