THIS year marks the 50th Anniversary of Mel Batty setting a World Record for 10miles of 47m 26.8s.
The 3rd Mel Batty 10k will be held on Sunday 24th August 2014, and all finishers will receive a Commemorative mug.
The race covers some of the original Mel Batty 10 mile road course, starting and finishing at the Thurrock Athletics Stadium, off Blackshots Lane, Grays, RM16 2QT.
