St Johns ambulance summer fete in Corringham

    ST JOHN’S Ambulance Corringham Division, held their first Summer Fete on the 30th August at St John Hall in Chestnut Walk.

    The fete was opened by "Gillie the Yorkie" who went missing and was found in Croydon London.

    Madness and mayhem was provided by Kids Entertainer Marky Mark. Amongst local and popular stalls were "Hook a duck", "Name the Teddy and a cake with the St John logo baked by local Beverley Biggs.

    St John Cadets and adults were in attendance with Unit Leader Paul Luke.

    Fete Organiser Julie Sorrell-Wilde added that St John are looking to recruit for their Corringham Unit and look forward to hearing from anybody looking to join.
