A MOTION for a fitting memorial for the former leader of Thurrock Council, Andy Smith, was passed at Thurrock Council.
The eulogies in the chamber were led by the leader of Thurrock Council, John Kent.
If there was a theme throughout it was that cllr Smith was a fantastic campaigner. And after all the praise, you came to realise why Andy never lost a local election campaign.
