A SENIOR Thurrock police officer, arrested on suspicion of a sexual offence, has been re-bailed.
Chief Inspector Ben Hodder, the district commander for Thurrock, was arrested on May 8.
He answered bail on Friday June 13th and was rebailed until September 11th.
YT understands that chief inspector Hodder has now been re-bailed until October 22nd.
Hodder has been temporarily removed from his post as the borough’s district commander.
