A RACE night is being organised by Thurrock Lions to raise money on behalf of Thurrock Diabetes UK Group.
The fun event is on Thursday September 25 from 7pm at Stifford Clays Social Club. The first of eight races starts at 7.30pm and entry is £2.50 by race card available on the door.
The bar will be open at the social club and free tea and coffee will be provided, bring your own nibbles.
Diabetes UK groups provide support and guidance for local people with diabetes, arrange speakers from the medical profession to give talks on the condition, raise funds to support local people with diabetes, help Diabetes UK to fund research and raise awareness of diabetes
Anyone living with diabetes, newly diagnosed or longer term, is welcome to attend the meetings along with family members, carers and friends.
