ALL OF the main parties were out on the campaign trail in the ward of West Thurrock and South Stifford.
The seat has become vacant after the sudden death of local councillor, Andy Smith.
Labour candidate, Terry Brookes and his team were out and about in the Caspian Way area. He was joined by the constituency candidate, Polly Billington.
UKIP were also out in force (they will no doubt tell us they are always out in force).
They haven’t announced the name of their candidate yet.
The Conservative candidate is John Rowles. He was joined by Conservative MP, Ian Duncan-Smith.
