VOLUNTEER Centre Thurrock is holding a free drop-in Recruitment Fayre to help people find volunteering opportunities in Thurrock. The event is being held on Tuesday 16th September, between 11am – 2pm at the Beehive, West Street, Grays, Essex, RM17 6XP.

Laura Hudson, Volunteer Coordinator said “Our Recruitment Fayres are great for people to find out about volunteering and the benefits that it brings.

"As well as the 315 opportunities we currently have on our system, organisations/charities such as Mind, Parents First, Community Mums and Dads, Princes Trust, Age UK are coming along to discuss their opportunities in more detail and will cover a range of interests to suit most people”.

“We would also encourage organisations who are considering using volunteers to come along and find out how they can register their opportunities with the Volunteer Centre Thurrock”.

The new FREE ACE training programme (September-December) will also be available with lots of free training, including volunteering and management of volunteers, to help people learn new skills or enhance their existing skills.

We will also be supporting the world’s biggest coffee morning for macmillan cancer support, so why not come along and have a cup of tea and some cake and find your perfect volunteering role. Alternatively visit our website www.ngagethurrock.org.uk or call ngage on 01375 389893/389853.
