AVELEY underlined their promotion credentials with another impressive performance with a 3-1 win against Romford at Ship Lane.
Goals from Spencer Harrison, Junior Baker and Aaron Gayle secured the win which sees the Millermen in fourth place in the league.
Romford kept Aveley at bay for a long time and were good value for the clean sheet at half time.
However, in the 47th minute, when Spencer Harrison smashed the ball home from close range.
This spurred Romford into action with Tom Richardson equalising.
Junior Baker is once again a leading player in the Aveley team and he soared high to put the Millermen back in the lead.
Sub Aaron Gayle scored the third goal to wrap up the three points for Aveley.
