NGAGE Volunteer Centre Thurrock held a volunteer recruitment fayre recently and helped raise money for macmillan cancer support at the same time.
Laura Hudson, volunteer coordinator said “We had 13 organisations promoting their volunteering opportunities such as South Essex Partnership Trust, Springboard for children, Chadwell St Mary Centre and many more. Some volunteers and group representatives made cakes and we managed to raise £96 at the recruitment fayre and to staff working at the Beehive resource centre”.
