LAST weekend’s Pleshey half marathon, which include the Essex
Championships results, saw Thurrock’s Pat Dobbs notch up yet another
medal winning performance – this time a bronze in the V70 class. Pat
finished 303rd overall in 1 hr 58 mins 11 secs.
Grays-based Chris Wayman had a top twenty finish with a time of 79 mins
46 seconds just outside his best.
403 runners finished.
This weekend is a busy one for the Harriers. They are fielding teams in
all sections of the cross country relay championships which means about
50 runners will travel to Hockley on Saturday afternoon.
Many of the clubs young multi-events exponents will be competing in
their last competition of the year.
