POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was dragged from a white van and attacked in Tilbury on September 6th.
The man, aged in his 20s, from Stanford-le-Hope, was struck with a metal bar and an axe causing numerous bruises to his body and a cut to his head, at around 12.30/1pm in Dock Road, between the train station and Asda.
Three men are believed to be responsible.
It is thought a bus was passing the scene at the time of the assault. The man was dragged from a white Volkswagen van.
