Couple threatened with crowbar in Tilbury burglary

DETECTIVES in Tilbury are appealing for information following a burglary in which a man and a woman were threatened by a man carrying a crowbar.

The break-in happened when a man entered the property on Leicester Road via the unlocked rear door at 4.20pm on Thursday, October 2 and threatened the occupants with a crowbar. He then stole a red HP laptop and a Sony PlayStation worth collectively almost £800.

The suspect is described as white, 6 ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a white t-shirt with green stripes and black shorts with what appeared to be paint or plaster on them. He was seen to run off in the direction of Sexton Road.
