Nurse robbed in Wharf Road, Grays

DETECTIVES in Grays are appealing for witnesses after a female nurse was robbed of her handbag as she walked through an alleyway close to Wharf Road

The 25-year-old victim, who lives locally, was walking along the alleyway leading to Aldi supermarket shortly before 6pm on Wednesday, September 24, when she was approached by two men.

One man pushed her against the wall while the other snatched her brown leather handbag containing her nurse uniform and an asthma inhaler. The men ran in the direction of Wharf Road and the residential area.

Both suspects are described as white, aged between 17 and 18 and around 5 ft 8 ins tall. Both were wearing sportswear and one had his hood over his head.
