IN July this year RATA (The residents and Traders Association of Corringham) held a World War One commemoration event in Corringham Town Centre in order to raise funds for the British Legion.

It was an amazing day enjoyed by all, and raised a staggering £2741.34!

Tracey Hall, British Legion community fund raiser, Essex said “I am absolutely speechless at this wonderful amount. You should all be so proud of yourselves. To pull together as a community and raise such an amazing amount is just so special”.

The British Legion have said the funds raised will be used within the Essex area.

    WELL DONE RATA!
