A FREE dog chipping service is being offered at Koala Park, Adelaide Road, Tilbury, this week.
The Dogs Trust will be providing the micro-chipping and there will also be free advice and advice leaflets, free goody-bags for dogs – including dog poop bags, a dog treat and information leaflets.
The event runs from 11am until 3pm on Wednesday, 22 October.
Every dog in England will have to be micro-chiped from 2016 under government plans to cut down on strays.
The chips are coded with owners’ details so, if lost, the animal can be returned.
